Sasha found herself in despair. Feeling betrayed, used and lost.
She was facing decisions and hard times in which she never had to in the past.
Does she believe what others are saying about her?
Does she allow her dreams to sit further back in her heart and let all of this turmoil encase it like a fit glove with the possibility of never uncovering them again?
Does she panic?
Will she ever be able to trust again?
Can she find herself again?
These were the questions in her mind.
Days passed by, weeks, and then months...beating herself up.
Questions on replay as if there were some sort of radio playing in her head with no fast forward or rewind option, just stuck in repeat!
Being her worst critic, she continued to dwell.
3:00 am and Sasha awoke in a panic from a horrific dream.
Sasha had never dreamt with demons but on this night, demons were taunting her in her dream!
Trying to speak with her, trying to get to her. Sasha recalls running from them, refusing to hear them speak in their wicked, raspy, harsh voices! Refusing to answer to them, instead seeking to find a way to prove to them that she has nothing in common with them. Scared to death, Sasha knew that these demons were real. They were out to get her! Flaming words appeared spelling, WAKE UP, and
suddenly Sasha woke up with her heart racing! She was awakened by the sound of a fire alarm in need of a new battery! How ironic?
That morning, Sasha realized that enough was enough. This was her wake up call! Her soul did not want to be visited ever again by these demons in her dreams! She longed for a heart that was healed of her harsh thoughts, a heart that would reconsider seeking positives in everything. After being grateful to find that those demons were in her dream, Sasha had a heart to heart talk with her self. "Why am I doing this to myself? Why am I allowing this to trouble me so?"
She declared that day, was the last day she would allow the opinions that had been hurting her to rot her from the inside out!
She realized those thoughts and opinions were stemming from someone else. Someone who had demons to deal with themselves!! Someone who used Sasha as their punching bag! The demons were a tell tale sign that obviously, there was a deep rooted evil inside of those opinions and thoughts! What was more significant that day to Sasha was the conclusion that Karma has a way of taking care of all things that are done unjustly! Karma leaves no stone unturned therefore, Sasha can begin anew again!
Those demons, they pissed her off and she refuses to allow them to ever taunt her again!
Sasha began her daily talking with God, remembering to put him first in everything. Allowing God to take charge of her heart again, trusting God first which made it easier to trust others again. Praying that he would forgive her as well as those who have wronged her. Sasha walked away with a huge smile that morning, out into the day with the sun kissing her face and the breeze soothing her. She smiled because she was reminded that it is God who has total control over her destiny and her enemies.
