This one is for the TEACHERS!

I can recall a teacher who made a difference in my life!
She taught reverentially to all her students on a daily basis!
Her name, Mrs. Rhodes.
The care, concern, loyalty, compassion, & faith she placed in me helped to mold the person I have become!
She opened the pathway to my career and drilled in me that to get through life one thing we must do is,
"Use our time effectively!" That line has been embedded in my brain!
There are many times I find "procrastination" trying to supercede my thoughts of "using my time effectively!" however, when it all boils down to getting any job done,
her line pushes me and the results of my labors are OUTSTANDING! In every area of my life.
This is mainly thanks to this extraordinary teacher in my past!
( I am sure my English teachers would find that most of my sentences above are run-on, fragment, not proper, etc...,lol...)

With today being the last day of school for many children here in New Jersey, I'd like to dedicate this post to all of the phenomenal teachers out there!
Their job goes beyond the classroom. Work is brought home and worked on for hours even after they have "clocked out!"
The impact they have on their pupils can last a lifetime!
Be sure to show appreciation to teachers! Often times, they are the role models that go unnoticed or thanked!

In my personal life, the relationship I have with my father has evolved over the years 


into a very special one. Our fathers are not strangers. They are humans just like us and 


it is a 2-way street relationship. We have both learned a lot from one another.


He has always been an excellent provider and no matter what burdened his heart, he 


stood by us! He choose to be a family man and has become more humble with age.

One day, you'll sit and wonder where has all the time gone. 

His elderly eyes tell thousands of stories without a word said! 

The stroking of his hair connects him with a life he had so much to do with! 

He's turned into a baby that I'd love to give everything up for and passionately care for.

He is a better human than I and I wish I knew the conversations in his head daily. I'd put them on paper and cherish them.

Invisible tears, quiet heart aches, I leave him with a kiss on his forehead until the next time. Grateful to have him humble my heart.

 To see him smile, and see me off with blessings well said.

Daily, it may be all to easy for a person to loose sight of who they REALLY are.

Conforming to your surroundings and often times complacent with just getting through the day;

Getting through the day without too much emphasis on self- improvement, character building, or appreciation for the MANY BLESSINGS within LIFE period!

As you may already know, I use FACEBOOK daily.

 As of recent, I have come across THREE status updates in which pertained to, 

"Appreciate today, as tomorrow is never promised." 

Those three statuses were the sad news of a person who has perished. 

I do not know the perished persons personally. 

May they rest in Peace.

Two of those lives were taken by a motorcycle accident. The persons were young. 

The third status was a son who lost his father to lung cancer.

I ask that you pray for these lost lives and their families. Pray for all the people who are mourning their loss.

Notice the word MOURNING.

According to Webster's Dictionary, the word means: expressing grief or sorrow.

Readers, my point, TODAY is a GIFT. The fact that your are able to breathe, is a gift.

That is enough reason to get up and be excited! To NOT conform and be complacent with yourself!

To NOT just "blend" in with the world!

Don't walk around "mourning," because there will come a time when you will truly have too. 

Emphasize on finding your BLESSINGS daily and being grateful for them.

Build your CHARACTER! God placed only ONE of you here on EARTH! 

THERE IS A REASON FOR YOU AND THERE ARE ENDLESS POSSIBILITIES WITHIN YOU!

I am not sure if it's the "tickle" of summer or the ease of putting my thoughts on paper!
But, whatever it is, the feelings of inspiration, motivation, happiness, and curiosity have me lost in creativity!
This blog is my seed and I have kept it simple. It has fueled a "fire" in me and has caused me to continue to strive towards my dreams IN EVERY AREA OF MY LIFE!
 Simple or not, you must start at a "starting point" in order to get to the "finish line!"
The same goes for you.


Although I do have this "imagination" of mines running wild, I am constantly wishing well to others!
Part of being a positive person or having a positive life requires that you surround yourself with as much of it as possible. 
By wishing well unto others at all times, you'll start to notice the positivity in them, and or the positive outcomes of their lives. This will become a source of motivation and inspiration for yourself. 
If you always focus on your "wishes", yourself, your everything, YOU will miss out on the endless joy  of seeing others excel. 
I also want to encourage you not to alienate a negative person or challenge, but simply to choose how they will affect you. To these people or challenges, you serve as a role model.
 In these challenges lie great opportunities to polish your character! 
Mentor someone, offer guidance. 
Remember, mistakes, arguments, disagreements; they will happen.
 Learn something from them, move on, let go and do not beat yourself up! 
There is nothing positive in dwelling on ANYTHING NEGATIVE!!!!

What Inspires you?
