Don't get lost in the madness

The Holidays are here!

It is a time where I find many including myself,  with to-do lists, scattered brains and later bed times.

In all of that, I encourage you not to get lost in that madness. 

Take time to stop and recall the reason for the season! Open your heart to ways of sharing never explored.

Give back! Hold the door open for someone, do something anonymous!

I was watching Channel 12 news and this story caught my attention:

An anonymous person entered a Kmart Lay-a-way center and asked the employee to please pull up THREE random receipts of persons whom still had yet to pick up their lay-a-way.

This anonymous person, paid off the receipt balances and left no name! Just a scribbled 

"HAPPY HOLIDAYS!" on their paid receipts!

 The very  SENTIMENT of such a selfless act had a grand effect on my heart! 

It does not take much for this world to be a better place!

All you have to offer is your SELFLESSNESS!

Your own contribution in any way you can to brighten the "tiny space" you take up in this world!

I have no idea how much those receipts totaled but I can tell you that it does not matter and it may have been minimal but the receiver of such a paid receipt will surely be touched! Perhaps, even be brought closer to the belief that GOD does use others to heal, help and soften their own hearts!

This anonymous person did not get lost in the Holiday madness. They thought of others and humbly gave of themselves.

Do you have to go pay off someones Lay-a-way?  No, that is not the message I am trying to convey. 

I am trying to convey that you worry less, enjoy more! Focus on the humble things, make the HOLIDAYS the best of where you are with what you HAVE! Certainly strive to see the countless BLESSINGS of a new DAY, a new MINUTE, a new SECOND!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Then share your BEST smile and open heart with others!

In this Place

In this place...

There has been pain.

There have been tears.

A fire has burned.

Death has knocked on the doors of this place and tried to make pain a permanent home here.

A dark cloud looms over always ready to pour out a storm at any sign of weakness.

But, in this place, there is comfort.

There is security.

There is a presence of  GOD.

There is FAITH that started as the tiniest seed and has evolved into an endless supply.

There is forgiveness, humility, compassion and positivity.

There are memories of loved ones gone that have soothed the pain.

There are new walls where the fire burned.

There are new memories within that float about.

There are footsteps of lives as they unfold and people who found themselves; who found their purpose.

There is silence that encourages one to speak with GOD.

There is beauty in all of its surroundings.

There are HOPES, DREAMS, and WISHES made here.

There have been  mistakes that created opportunities for enrichment, growth and important lessons learned.

In this place, there is discovery.

There is anything you need.

In this place, LIFE is not measured in the quantity, or the minutes,
 rather in the quality and the vision of all things good, all things GODLY.

In this place, hate is not allowed.

In this place everyone is taught that no matter the opinions of others we are all crafted in  uniqueness
by GOD and we are all capable of making this world a positive place.

In this place, is where you will find peace, where you can hear your inner voice clearly and feel your spirit bursting to SOAR as your intended too...

This place, it can be within you. This place can be whatever place you choose!

Yes, I was watching Fox 5 news today and she was on one of their segments.

Easy inspiration, I know but here is the deal...On this blog, and on my FB page, that is my GOAL...BRING to YOU inspirational, motivational, positive  STUFF!

Some I create entirely on my own but majority of my posts are inspired by someone or something!

Back to Erin Brockovich.

If you have never heard of her, you may want to consider learning more on this amazing TRUE-life story.

This movie highlights the struggle, determination, conviction, and power of a women who was a normal person advocating for something she felt was a severe issue!

AJ is just like many of us and is advocating for environmental issues which are based on real-life environmental issues.

I highlighted Erin today because OYLIP (Own Your Life in Positivity By S.K. this page) admires anyone who is courageous, positive and has struggled to obtain outcomes that were unbelievable or unexpected!
Determination got ERIN $335 million and not all for herself, she FOUGHT to get ordinary people who went through severe obstacles and trials what they deserved...JUSTICE!

Newness is TODAY!

You are one person, beating to your own rhythm but you are not ALONE!

God has his plan...

YOU are a part of that plan.

Why are you settling for this minute as it is?!?

Why are you looking down on you?!?

Realize that a BLESSING is as simple as the breath you just inhaled and exhaled!

Expect that "greater" things will come.

Know that the only minutes wasted in your life are the ones in which you choose to waste!

Be thankful.

No matter what is going on in your life right now, there is somebody who is struggling with a more difficult scenario.

PRAY.

Not only for you and yours... PRAY for your enemies, those with more difficult scenarios, your leaders, your neighbors, your family, your friends. Pray that you may find your God given purpose and that you may be a BLESSING towards others!!

What crosses your mind the minute you open your eyes from your sleep?

I woke up today and claimed that today, I look on with conviction towards my future. I own it, all of it: My thoughts, my life, my circumstances and I am fully responsible for how this day will transpire.

I do not walk alone! Each of my steps, they are guided and protected! It is up to me to keep them that way! Everything is outlined and therefore, I need not panic over things that are beyond my control.

What crossed your mind the minute you awoke from your sleep today?

Many people wake up each day but how many are really AWAKE? How many continue their day "sleeping"?

Claim your day the minute you wake up:) 

Give THANKS! 

Know that GOD gave you this day as a GIFT! 

A priceless gift! 

LIVE it! 

Don't allow ANYTHING to claim that opportunity from the moment you opened your eyes!

You will notice eventually that once you claim and own all of your thoughts and actions, LIFE, it can be POSITIVE, it can have a meaningful PURPOSE that will come naturally because GOD only made ONE of  -YOU-! 

But, YOU must choose to be awake first!
